Welcome to Wren's Sweetheart Bunnies Rabbitry~ Thanks for visiting our website. We strive to raise the best show quality bunnies we possibly can, consisting of Holland lops, Lionheads & Netherland Dwarfs here in Loveland Colorado.
My name is Melissa Wren. I have 5 children. We started with one bunny for a 4-h project 4 years ago and since then have kept adding to our family of bunnies. We are a small Family run rabbitry of about 75 holes. We raise all small dwarf rabbits ~ Holland lops, Lionheads and Netherland Dwarfs all weighing between 2-4 pounds when fully grown. We really like the Blue eyed white bunnies also known as (BEWS) so we have put lots of focus and money into working on this rare and beautiful color. We also will be adding Blue eyed white Netherland dwarfs to our herd in April 2010. Destiny has Decided to focus most her efforts on her new favorite breed Netherland dwarfs This year for her 4-h project. I also have been given the great opportunity to be the 4-h rabbit leader this year for the kids 4-h group. We just purchased 2 new does from Garrett at dwarfs r us rabbitry in Check Virginia bred to his best smoke pearl bucks and also 4 blue eyed white Netherland dwarfs from Texas, so we hope to have some really nice upcoming netherland dwarf babies this summer. We Also are focusing our efforts on raising Holland lops of rare color's and are focusing this year on Frosty's, Lynx, Blue points, Smoke Pearls, Siamese sables, Squirrel and ofcourse Blue eyed whites. We have finally gotten our herd right how we want & have dreamed and have some truly amazing bucks in our herd!!! At Wrens Sweetheart Bunnies we strive to better the quality of all the breeds we raise. Our philosophy of experience is to buy the best so we can produce the best ~ So that is what we have done and We have bought our bunnies from some of the best breeders around. Remember you get what you pay for and quality is not cheap. Our goal is to raise show quality, healthy, happy & lovingly playful & Sweet bunnies. Our Dream is for our bunnies to win continually on the show tables, to make our rabbitry name one you can count on for top quality. Recently, On March 23, 2009 My dear Grandma (Our Gran) passed away she was fighting CMML Leukimia and came down with pnemonia and passed away with us all by her bedside. Our Rabbitry is our place of peace, Serenity, and comfort from the cares and worries of this world and is Dedicated to Our Gran . Before our Gran passed away she picked the name of our rabbitry, and bought the girls a trio of RARE blue eyed white holland lops from Arizona and a trio of RARE blue eyed white lionheads from California she also helped us to purchase some of our nicest bunnies. Before she passed she wished us much success & now that its almost been a year ago we truley know her Spirit is still here with us helping us to succeed . We thouroughly enjoy every minute we spend with our bunnies Spending time with them is like spending time in heaven! Our bunnies are all loved on and played with on a daily bases, so you can guarantee they have loving tame sweet personalitys. The girls show their bunnies for 4-H and also in the ARBA Shows locally. We are an ARBA Registered Rabbitry
