Melissa has been so great, I have just gotten in to rasing bunnies and as a youth breeder I have had alot of questions and Melissa has stuck with me threw it all! Melissa Wren, what a joy she has been! I had a dream of starting a herd of good quality lionheads on Maui in Hawaii, and Melissa made it happen. There were times when I had my doubts especially with all the new cut backs and restrictions on our inter-island flights. With great communication and support she helped me work what felt like a miracle. Her biggest gift was to my son Dane in appreciation of his service in Iraq. His new little buddy is a handsome young herd buck named Pookie Bear. Dane loves Pookie and is really happy with how easy they all are to handle. They are even more tame than my lops. My daughter and I raise Holland Lops here in the far north~ Fairbanks Alaska. As you can expect many of our breeding stock must either be brought back with us personally or shipped to us via the airlines. Quite a few of the stories told around the show barn are about receiving rabbits with chunks of ears missing, asking for a proven doe and finding out you now own a 5 year old buck. And there is not much we can do about it. Once arrived, the return shipping and long distance communication is not worth the time and accompanying stress. So we search out reputable sale barns and when we find one we share the information with the local 4-H groups, rabbit clubs etc.
    Wrens Sweetheart Bunnies Rabbitry has more than satisfied our rabbit purchase and shipping expectations. The stock we received, two Holland lops for ourselves and two Lionheads for a friend were exactly what we we're told they would be. Melissa went "above and beyond the call of duty" to ship quickly, safely and with reasonable shipping and handling prices. Alaska is a long trip for 4 little bunnies, yet they came healthy, happy and well mannered.

We are very pleased with our new rabbit from Wrens Sweetheart bunnies Rabbitry in Loveland Colorado. The entire process was easy - our new Holland Lop is very calm, mellow, sweet, soft and healthy. Our daughter really enjoys him and he will follow her and sits in her lap for hours. He also has a playful side as well - he is like a dog and cat in one. For anyone out there who wants to bring a bunny into their lives, sprint down to the beautiful town of Loveland where the Wren family proudly and lovingly raise the sweetest and cutest bunnies around! Melissa Wren, (the monarch) not only raises bunnies, but also raises FIVE amazing kids! Yes, I said FIVE! I fortunately got a chance to meet all of her lovely children the night we went to pick up our bunny. They are all so passionate about what they do and it gave me a better feeling about choosing them over anyone else I had found online. I was lucky enough to be able to hand pick our bunny. O.K., Melissa and her girls actually helped us pick out a good one. Let me tell you, they picked the right one! We chose a BEW holland lop doe that we ended up calling Snowfia. My husband and our three children took a little drive to Loveland Colorado to surprise our daughter with a new rabbit! Just a note to say thanks. We always have on average 10 rabbits we consider pet quality. Normally we get those from farm stores. They aren’t always completely healthy. Early this year, I lost my favorite rabbit that we had. I didn’t think I would get anymore. I did some searching on the internet here and there. I found Wren’s Sweetheart Bunnies and saw a rabbit that resembled my buddy. I went back and forth on getting “Rascal”, a BEW carrier buck from Wren’s Sweetheart Bunnies Rabbitry. Finally my family and I made a snap decision to take the 9 hour drive from eastern Nebraska to pick up Rascal. He was very friendly. I knew he was coming home with us. We saw Kinio, an opal Holland. He came home too! If we had more room, I think we would have brought more home. “The Boys” are doing fine. They are healthy and very friendly. Houdini was Emma's first Lionhead and he won Best of Breed 1st place ribbon at ARBA show in February. He also won Best of Varitety as well. He is a playful and wonderful rabbit who is well loved.
Our little Millie ( little runt you so kindly gave to Emma at ARBA show has done great. She is the sweetest and most laid back bunny ever. Emma holds her in her lap while she is reading and Millie loves to just relax with Emma. Thank you so much . Hi Melissa. We just totally adore Chip, our chinchilla holland lop buck we got from your rabbitry. He's litter box trained and spends most of his days hopping around the house~ he is a total delight. We bought him a big cage and we just let him roam the house & get in and out of the cage as he pleases. We Love him! Thanks again!

Hey Melissa! I just wanted to let you know the rabbit show at fair was today in Nebraska. Kodiak the blue eyed white buck I bought from you did absolutely wonderful. He won Best of Breed and Best of Show. Also, my little brother got a ribbon for showing Sugarfoot the Vienna marked doe you sold us. Both of the bunnies seem to like it at fair, neither of them are upset at all. I was surprised when Kodiak won because he had some pretty tough competition. I will send you a link to the papers website so you can see the picture of me and Kodiak and read about it. Plus, we are planning on breeding Kodiak and Sugarfoot. I already have several people wanting rabbits!!!!! Thank you so much for selling them to me. Without those two fair this year would not have been much fun at all.

I bought a little Netherland Dwarf from you back in August. I had lost my seven year old ND named Molly to Vet error. I am attaching a few photos of her taken recently. She is an absolute joy and she gets along great with my older rabbit also shown. Thank you for raising these rabbits as I was in search of a good rabbit and I certainly found one in Macy B.

Thank you so much for such wonderful bunnies. Nick is amazing, He plays fetch with a little ball with Haley all the time. And the little male Lionhead loves to run in the grass and chase Hannah. The female Lionhead has found many playmates here in Delta she has become close friends to our female Guinea Pig we just gave her baby to my son in Loveland and so now she thinks Lulu is her baby is always cleaning her. We also have kittens that Lulu loves to play with they are quite funny together. So from all of us Thank you!!!

I Just Love my Bunnies!!! Bubbles is as sweet as can be. She is very active and playful and that is something I love to see as these bunnies are pets. The little boy has been named button, he is just as playful as bubbles. I can't look at those little cutties with out having to smile. We are getting our new bunny cage today so the bunnies will get to settlel into their new home, and they will have lots of space because they get it all to themselfs! We have two female gunniepigs that live in another pen and we have introduced them and they are getting along realy well, all four of them seem to enjoy having new playmates. So both bubbles and button are doing realy well and we enjoy them both! Thank you so much for them!!!!!! If I ever need bunnies again I know were I am going~ Your rabbitry for sure!!!!!!!!

Dear Melissa, Like so many before me, it was wonderful to discover you and your rabbitry. You are truly knowledgeable about lionheads....friendly, patient & generous with your time with all of us newbies to the breed, and extremely funny with your rabbit stories. Bella, my VM Tort Doe, is such a loving lionhead bunny and is a reflection of the healthy & happy surroundings she was born into at Wrens Sweetheart Bunnies . She has quickly learned to do so much including listening to Disco music with my husband on a nightly basis. She curls up next to Scooby-Doo to watch TV. A little note to let you know that bunny is doing Great. She loves it here. We redid the guinea pig cage and enlarged it for her and gave her lots of head room. We tried to raise the sides of the court yard but she is really smart and can go over anything. So we lowered it back down and she comes and goes as she pleases. She is a really smart bunny. She has to go to bed at night in her cage. She knows "time to go nite nite". and she goes by her self back to her cage for bed time. In the mornings she knows the doors will open to the cage and stay open all day. She is the first one in line to come out. She plays all day with the 2 cats and has become good friends with her nieghbors the boy guinea pigs. She goes into their cage also to visit them. Every one has grown to love her even the male guinea pigs. She has run of the family room and the laundry room all day. she has a race track that she runs. she loves our male cat "Elvis". They are best friends. She is great and has blended here to perfection. She knows her name. She has also followed the cats into the cat box and has potty trained herself in the cat box. I think you also sold my grandkids bunnies. Daughter in law Shawna and son chris jorgensen. Grandkids cameron and Avery. Their bunnies are also doing great. well off to clean house. take care and i will try to keep in touch better now that i have this great computer.
